The GaDOE Parent Satisfaction Survey for SPED
FY21 SURVEY COMING SOON!!!! (estimated release date: January 2021)
Each year the GaDOE requests that all school districts in Georgia participate in the annual GaDOE Parent Satisfaction Survey. This survey should be completed by parents with children served with an IEP under the Special Education Program in the Appling County School System. The survey is available online in both English and Spanish. No paper copies of the survey are given to the Appling County School System by GaDOE.
Once the survey is released by GaDOE, each child served with an IEP in the Appling County School System should receive information explaining why you're being asked to complete the survey, how/where to access the survey online, and who to contact if you need assistance or have any questions. If you have a child served with an IEP and do not receive the information regarding the annual GaDOE Parent Satisfaction Survey please contact Karen Tharpe - Parent Mentor for the Appling County School System (contact information listed below). You may also access the information in the links listed below.
The survey is very short (approximately 10 questions) and your online survey answers are confidential. A team with GaDOE will review/compile the survey results to provide a summary of all responses back to the local school system regarding the parent's satisfaction with SPED services in Appling County. Below you will find resources to help answer questions you may have about the survey and a "Sample" of the survey questions you will be asked online.
