My name is Dr. Wade Bryant. I hold certification and licensure in the following areas: Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and Higher Learning, Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) in Early Childhood Education (with emphasis in Curriculum Design), Master’s (M.S.) in Early Childhood Education, and a Bachelor’s (B.S.) in Early Childhood Education. I am also Technology, ESOL, and Gifted endorsed. In 2006, I received Georgia Master Teacher certification under former Governor Sonny Perdue. Currently, I am the Instructional Support Specialist at the Appling County Primary School.
I come from a large Southern family, where I am seventh-born of eleven children, one of whom has the pleasure of being my twin. I love to swim, read, and travel. Most of all, I like to educate. I find pride in imparting knowledge and wisdom to students and faculty on a daily basis. I have taught grades K, 1, 2, and 4 as well as ESOL (English to Speaker of Other Languages). I am a few years from retirement from the public school system; after retirement I plan to continue teaching doctoral courses at the international level. It is also my future goal to teach abroad as I venture closer to the golden years.
I have excellent interpersonal communication skills. I enjoy people, show enthusiasm and excitement in the classroom and society in general, and I’m always positive. Second, I have an attitude of flexibility. I make accommodations in the work setting and my personal life as needed to maintain my sanity. Third, I am culturally-minded. I appreciate all cultures and belief systems and realize that each is unique to individuals across the globe. Fourth, I am a leader by nature; I like to lead by example. Last, I am an optimist. I view myself and the world as moving in a beautiful direction.
My motto in life is simple; live life to the fullest each and every day!
