An Introduction |

| Georgia's Haunted History is a project that began with the 2004 fourth grade students at Fourth District Elementary School in Surrency, Georgia. This project on historic landmarks in Georgia is rooted in our students' love for the story of our own local ghost, the Surrency ghost. On these web pages we have documented the regions, the histories, the famous people, and the ghost stories associated with some of Georgia's historic landmarks. It is a collaborative effort under the direction of Mrs. Melanie Howard, media specialist, and Mrs. Carolyn Eunice, fourth grade teacher. We hope that you enjoy exploring both the factual and the spooktacular stories that showcase just a few of the historic landmarks in our beautiful state! |
